Normal task

SVAR Vue Gantt supports several task types. This article describes the normal task type.

Normal task

A normal task is the default task type in the Gantt. It's defined in the tasks array with type: "task" (can be omitted):

To load a normal task, set its start date and either the end date or the duration. The missing one is calculated automatically. A task with no start date is unscheduled and gets no bar on the timeline.

Normal tasks support dragging, resizing, and progress editing directly in the chart area.
